After the exchange of our components for glass production, Heraeus is the competent partner at your side for refining
of precious metals. The components for glass production which may contain precious metals such as platinum, palladium, rhodium and ruthenium can be reprocessed economically with a high yield in our modern refinery.
The recovered precious metal can be used again for manufacturing of new precious metal components.
This spectrum of services includes the production of new products, the refining of precious metals from used components and the administration of precious metal accounting. The chemical administration of precious metal accounting and the physical handling of precious metals are core competencies of Heraeus.
