Our specialists are using ANSYS software to analyse the loading cases of components, whilst taking into consideration the existent operating conditions, by means of analytical computation and FEM (Finite Element Method). Based on the corresponding material parameters, temperature fields are determined (this includes electro-thermal cogeneration) as well as linear and non-linear alignments in respect to the structural mechanics.
Elasto-static or deferred (transient) distributions are computed. Apart from temperature spreads and heat
flux, occurrences such as strains, distensions and deformations can further be highlighted in the results.
The various models required to interpret the results can be either self-made or can be directly imported and formatted into the system via the usual CAD interfaces such as Parasolid, IGES or STEP.
Further to information regarding the applicability and the expected durability of the component, the results also provide assistance as to the choice of the CAD interfaces such as Parasolid, IGES or STEP.. The main purpose of the simulation is to achieve an optimal geometry and to minimize the usage of materials.
