Apart from rods and wires made of precious metal, Heraeus produces a large variety of tubes and capillary tubes by drawing. We manufacture round material with a high quality surface and outside diameters from 0,001 to 60 mm.
The special quality in drawing is the manufacturing of seamless tubes. Over the years, Heraeus has optimised this technique so that we can now supply our customers with excellent prematerial (for example, thimbles, plungers, etc.) or semi-finished products.
Besides that, we even make rolled sections, rods or wires out of materials like Iridium, Rhodium or Rhenium that are difficult to form.
